Ivy’s Nomination Stories

Ivy is dedicated to uplifting others. She is always engaging with community members from the youth to elders. Last year she nominated a teen and made sure people knew the difference that even a young person can make. I really look up to her and strive to make positive differences in the community like she has. I really appreciate that she represents and shares her culture and learns from others too. I appreciate that she shares with others through her art. She highlights others and their stories. I believe she deserves to be highlighted. She is someone who makes such a huge difference and inspires others around her. -Wishes to remain anonymous

Ivy is making a positive change by putting PEACE AND LOVE into practice in Duluth. She tells the stories those often unseen and unsung through her photography, quilts and art. She creates community every where she goes with her infectious joy. -Diana Oestreich
